Yukon – one of the last areas of widerness
MATADORNETWORK.COM. Wilderness, forests, friendly people – and expensive booze. That’s what Katie Lambert’s report on Yukon, Canada, at the Matadornetwork.com blog boils down to. The post is a very helpful Yukon travel guide for those who wish to experience, as Lambert writes, “some of the largest areas of wilderness in the world, big mountains, thriving and inspired First Nations peoples, interesting local ‘produce,’ and general friendliness. Amongst other things.”
Her note to those who hope to enjoy alcoholic beverages in the lands av bears and forests may come in handy, too:
The booze in Canada is way, way, way overpriced. It would do you good to include in your luggage the maximum amount of alcohol allowed.
