    Perfect for a weekend trip

I love to walk through Amsterdam and just think about, what I could eat next. There are so many restaurants from all over the world. I've been to indian, indonesian, tibetian, japanese and much more restaurants. They are everywhere in Amsterdam. And food is always very good and not expensive.

    Amsterdam 2013

As with all European cities the euro is still keeping the prices up so it's not the cheapest place to go. But after a few years where it looked like the Weed picture might be changing against the liberal ideal it is definitely business as usual in the city for those looking for various kicks.

Insider Tip:Febo is the greatest fastfood in the world when you have had a heavy night on the local crop. With vending machine style service you can purchase burgers etc without having to deal with any language barriers or confusion! An absolute Godsend for those with the munchies!

    dont forget about downtown !

The area around Sarphati park shouldn't be forgotten about in the hype of the red light district. Close to the awesome Albert Cuypmarket where you can find any and everything- including one of the few places in the city that has a fresh stroopwaffel stall !!

Insider Tip:Eat as many stroopwaffels as possible!

    Peddlers' World

The best way to get around is via bikes. There are probably more bikes than people. Rent a bike and see what Amsterdam is all about that way.

Insider Tip:Rent a bike from StarBikes. They're the only bike rental that won't make you look like a tourist. Many other bike rental places are all either yellow, orange, or blue...StarBikes rents out bikes that don't scream I'm a tourist.
