SYRIAN CONFLICT. Hopes for a cease-fire in Syria this week is diminishing, despite reports of an earlier promise by the Syrian government to withdraw its forces from cities by Tuesday. And for the first time in the Syrian uprising, bloodshed reportedly moved across the Syrian border to Turkey, where three people at a refugee camp were injured in gunfire, a Syrian official said according to CNN.
