Everest gives climbers Adventure award

The National Greographic has announced the 2012 People’s Choice Adventurers of the Year. Babu Sunuwar and Lakpa Tsheri Sherpa have won the award for their “Ultimate Descent expedition to climb Everest, paraglide down, and paddle to the sea truly embodies the spirit of adventure”, National Geographic writes.
They have reportedly carried out their expedition without sponsors and with minimal budget. Read the story and see pics from their expedition.
