
EGYPT: Police fires teargas, clashes with protesters
EGYPT: VIOLENT PROTESTS IN CAIRO, ALEXANDRIA: Reports were coming in Tuesday evening about intense fighting between protesters and police in central Cairo.
The Cairo protests started out as peaceful demonstrations, but degenerated into chaos as the protests heated up and the police used violence. Policemen were firing teargas as protesters marched towards the presidential palace in Cairo, the BBC reported.
Visitors in Egypt are advised to be careful.
